(10 years and older)
Cats are living longer, thanks to better medical care and preventative care. How long an individual cat will live depends on many factors such as: environment, genetics, nutrition, and appropriate veterinary care.

With this increase of life span, comes an increase in conditions and diseases that cats are susceptible to and may need medical intervention to increase the quality of life. Commom conditions and diseases of older cats include: arthritis, kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, heart disease and cancer. Cats age faster than we do and health problems can progress more rapidly.
At Kitten to Cat Hospital, we pay special attention to your senior cat’s care and comfort level and evaluate each cat individually and make optimal recommendations for your cat.
