(ages 2-10 years of age)
We recommend that cats be examined at least annually in order to prevent or detect medical problems. Cats age at a faster rate than we do and as a result health problems can progress at a more rapid rate.
Dental disease is a very important disease that we address during the annual exam. 75% of cats will have dental disease by the age of 3 years.
The annual wellness exam is an opportunity for you to address any concerns you may have and for the veterinarian to evaluate the needs that your cat may have such as dental care, weight management immunization and parasite prevention.
